A medicine ball is a weighted ball that helps tone and strengthen. When used during a squat it serves as a great way to strengthen your leg muscles.
Step 1: Stand with your feet shoulder width apart, toes pointed forward. Hold medicine ball out in front of your body, just above your chest, with arms straight. Make sure not to lock your elbows.
Step 2: Lower your body, bending at the hips, keeping your weight on your heels. Make sure your back is as upright as possible and your knees don’t cross the plain of your toes.
Step 3: Return to starting position. Do 10 – 15 reps.
