The split squat with dumbbells mainly works your quadriceps, glutes and hamstrings.
Step 1: Position yourself in a staggered stance with the rear heel elevated and front foot forward.
Step 2: Hold a dumbbell in each hand allowing each to hang at your sides. This is your form at start.
Step 3: Start by descending. Flex your knee and hip to lower your body down. Practice good posture throughout the movement. Keep the front knee in line with the foot.
