Everyone’s skin is different, so the way you take care of it will completely depend on your skin type. Once you’ve determined your skin type, you can treat it with the appropriate products. Oily Skin is characterized by:
- Shiny, thick, grainy pores
- Prone to blackheads
- Overactive glands
- Greasy shine
- Ages at a slower rate than other skin types and hardly wrinkles

Sensitive Skin is characterized by:
- Thinner in texture

Dry Skin is characterized by:
- Peeling, irritation and inflammation
- Rough, scaly, itchy, and sometimes painful
- Severe conditions include intense redness and itchiness
- Tends to crack which can cause deep fissures that may bleed
- Lacks natural oils, a valuable form of protection
- Lacks natural lipids that keep the skin moisturized
Combination Skin is characterized by:
- Closest to “normal” skin and is very common
- Plumpness and medium-sized pores
- Nice texture that doesn’t wrinkle or flare up
- Doesn’t require intense treatments
- Can be dry or normal in some areas and oily in others, such as the T-zone (nose, forehead and chin
