10 Aug Cleaning Your Naval
Your belly button, or navel, is the port for how we received nutrients through an umbilical cord while we were in the womb. It’s something everyone has, but many neglect to take a moment to give it some extra attention.
Here’s a test. Take your index finger, rub inside your naval, and smell. Pretty gross. You thought this area would magically be clean, but it needs care just like the rest of your body.
Here’s the PRZ how-to for maintaining naval hygiene:
You’ll need:
-
3 cotton swabs
-
Soothing Oil, Hydrogen Peroxide, or (my favorite) Witch Hazel
-
Body Lotion
PRZ Naval Guide:
-
Post-shower, dab a cotton swab in your solution of choice.
-
Slowly and gently work the swab in your naval.
-
Repeat the process.
-
Dab a cotton swab in body lotion, and moisturize inside of naval to maintain softness.
-
Dry naval by inserting bare cotton swab in naval until all solution has been absorbed.
I advise deep cleaning your naval monthly, while paying attention to this area in your daily bathing routine!
