Round up the boys and clear out the women, it’s poker night. Those beat-up decks of cards, stale pretzels and cans of light beer aren’t going to cut it this time though. A high stakes game calls for high-end accoutrements. Here are the “lucky” seven, must-have items for the ultimate poker night.
- Nostalgia KRS-2100 Keg-O-Rator ($399, amazon.com): Cold, draft beer in the comfort of your own home. Need we say more?
- Pony Keg of Radeberger: You’re going to need beer for that keg-erator. Make it a dependable and delicious session beer that you can sip throughout the night with out impairing your game (too much).
- Alfred Dunhill Poker Set ($650, amazon.com): This luxury brand knows how to make poker night elegant: two decks of cards and three hundred aluminum chips in a near indestructible carbon fiber box constructed in England.
- Williams Sonoma Pigs in a Blanket ($39.95, Williams-sonoma.com): These aren’t some Pillsbury rolled Li’l Smokies. These are gourmet sausages in a delicious puff pastry that wash down great with your beer and make winning some cash taste all the better.
- Monogrammed Beer Mugs ($59.00, Williams-sonoma.com): Let your guests know whose house they’re in and who’s really running this table while they’re imbibing your beer out of your monogrammed glass.
- Platinum Edition Poker Table Top ($43.97, amazon.com): You can have the finest stadium in football but it doesn’t mean anything if the turf on the field is junk. Same goes for poker night. A fine felt table top replete with chip and cup holders makes for the perfect poker arena.
- Maxx Freak Cigars by Alec Bradley ($84.99 for a box of 20, famous-smoke.com): Poker night wouldn’t be complete without that cloud of smoke lingering above the stone faced players below. The Maxx Freak cigars by Alec Bradley are lighter fare that you can enjoy all night long. Plus the stink won’t linger too long.
Now if only there were a product to keep you from losing all your money. Or you could just be that guy that hires some models to serve your friends. What else do you guys always have on hand for poker night?
